Hana Beaches
• A WorldWeb.com Travel Guide to Beaches in Hana, Hawaii.
Waioka Pool + My Favorites
One of the largest fresh water pools on Maui, this lush oasis is naturally fed by a waterfall and steps away from the beach.
Address: Hana Highway | Hana, HI | 96713
Hamoa Beach + My Favorites
Shared with the Hotel Hana-Maui, this beach offers soft grayish sand and bountiful vegetation. Facilities include a public washroom and an outdoor shower. Address: Haneo'o Rd | Hana, HI
Koki Beach + My Favorites
Due to its strong currents, Koki Beach is a good place for surfing and body boarding. Used mostly by locals, the beach is available 24 hrs a day and offers no facilities. Visitors are warned against swimming alone due to unpredictable currents. Address: Off Hana Hwy & Haneoo Rd | Hana, HI
Oneuli Beach + My Favorites
Located in Waianapanapa State Park, Oneuli Beach is also known as Black Sand Beach because it is made up of dark pulverized volcanic rock. A lava tube cave is also located on the beach. Address: Off Wailea Alanui Dr. | Hana, HI
Kaihalulu Beach + My Favorites
Appropriately nicknamed Red Sand Beach, this area’s reddish black sand actually comes from the deterioration of the cinder cone hill in which the bay is located. While there are no facilities or lifeguards, swimming and snorkeling conditions are usually okay. Address: Off Hana Hwy south of Hana Bay | Hana, HI
